Y’all this Lemon icebox Dessert is one of my most favorite Spring and Summer desserts. From the time I was a kid, it has always been a special treat for Papa (we pronounce it paw-paw because we’re good Southern speaking folks) to squeeze fresh lemons and make his Lemon Icebox Pie. It’s my grandfather’s recipe for Lemon Icebox Pie. 1 1/2 cups finely ground graham cracker crumbs 1/3 cup sugar 6 tablespoons butter, melted Mix all of the ingredients together and press into an 8" pie plate. This lemon pie recipe is also wonderful served frozen. Gently fold in 1 container of Cool Whip and blend until mixture is smooth. Add in 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and 1/4 teaspoon of zest to jello. Pour into the graham cracker crust and refrigerate for at least 2 to 3 hours before serving. Pour into pie crust. All you need is a can of sweetened condensed milk, a container of frozen whipped topping, a pre-purchased graham cracker pie crust, and some lemon juice.
